Personality: He is labeled as an Oddball by most, given his fascination with Cinema, specifically Horror Movies as they have played a major part in his childhood after the tragedy of his parents passing away during such an early age & being taken in by an Anonymous Old Man who had shared and allowed for him to indulge in such forms of media that had allowed his focus to be presumably shifted away from such events.
Back to the Oddball part, he is deemed by such moniker that his interest is all that he would really talk about and reference at any moment in time as he has attempted to get his peers to join him on a good movie marathon or two only to be met with an excuse or flat out denial. He is a unique sort of person with an individualized set of hobbies and likes as compared to the Bland and Pliable mindset of his peers during his School Days, This had became a problem in the Eyes of His Instructor and so had he been described to be a Troublemaker when he had frequented places such as the Office, Detention, and The School of Discipline, all in that order. Up until the Final Nail was in the Coffin and he had became just like all the other unthinking children.
All This were to be renewed by the time he had grown into an adult, as he were to have regained a sense of Freedom even if it was Limited.
If you were to hear from someone, They say he's quite outgoing & loud-mouthed at that. But he comes with Good-Intentions, being an Encyclopedia on all things Horror.
That's probably how he named himself.

All Joshua, or, 'Horropedia' could recall doing prior was dozing off after yet another lonesome movie marathon from within the comfort of his Quarters, located amongst the cumbersome halls of St. Pavlov's, with his dreams becoming rather bleak and dark, as per usual when he had hit the hay.
With him tossing and turning, looking for a comfortable place to adjust himself in ... before his fingers grazed soft fabric, a texture foreign compared to the velvety & blunt armchair he had been slouched in, paired with the introduction of warm light hitting him smack-dab in the face. He would have sworn it was just the dead of night given his habit of pulling sudden all nighters, much to the displeasure of others.
The presence of such thing makes him groan, amongst the growing speech of what was presumably a woman approaching. speaking something unintelligible to Horropedia as his groggy state uttered out.
"Five more Minutes ..."
Even that response made the garbled nonsense grow louder, and thus, had he been pulled out of bed by an older woman who appears to have claimed herself as his mother who had given him the bare minimum, before quickly shoving him a hefty backpack and ushering him out the door with any sort of breakfast or a mere chance to have him question the exact absurdity of the situation and who exactly she was truly.
Leaving him to stand right outside of the house he had presumably woken up in, still in a dazed stupor as he gazed down at the basic bag he had held in his arms including the spherical item he had been unintentionally holding in a tight grip.
Horropedia sets down the bag with him then leaning against the walls of the home, taking the time to linger around a little more to get his thoughts in check while he had set the bag down onto the ground by dropping it in favor of analyzing the strange ball-shaped object.
He could make out the shape of something in there, or so he thought when he had busied himself with fumbling the object around during his observation before a finger of his slipped and clicked the button, ultimately startling him into dropping it as something were to have came right out from it in a small glimpse of light; a small, scruffy little feline who looked to be just as confused as he was.
"Uh... Hello?" he was left dumbfounded at the sight of it, making him tilt his head from side to side so cartoonishly. Seeing as it made no exact remark, it only ever waddled towards him with not even a shift in facial expression--like that deadpanned stare was just permanently set there for life.
It was enough for Horropedia to brace for any sort of impact, as if a mere scratch from this thing would've been enough to end his life.
that was, before he would have felt its fuzzy little body right against his ankle, having latched onto it and nuzzling up against him.
" ... Huh."
"Not the threatening type, really?" He remarked, before he had made the decision to have swiped it right off of its feet & making them be at level with each other to which it had let out a startled little mewl.
"Es... Espurr." Was all it said, before going radio silent once more.
"Espurr... That's what you're called?" It sounded pretty dull. Mysterious, but rather Dull in some regard.
And the Little Feline resting in his hands, with its little legs slowly kicking in the air looked to have silently agreed on that, Maybe.
"Hmmm... You need something more cooler I bet. Plus! You really do remind me of something. Ah...." The Thought of Naming this Espurr fellow comes to him with Horropedia brainstorming a numerous amount of potential ideas before--!
"Aha! I got it!" He chirped,
"Church, You're Church! That's who you'll be."
"Espurr?" It mewed once again, questioning.
"It'll be just you n' me from now on, I'm sure." He spoke, all whilst looking around for any familiar faces of the sort who had been suddenly met with certain fate. And with the absence of them, he looks back at the Espurr, now known as Church.
"Best to make the most of it."
